Library Orientation/Lessons Offered in Library 2024-2025

The library offers orientation to all 9th grade students. Students have an opportunity to gain valuable insight on utilizing the library to assist with adjusting to high school. Lessons are provided in the following areas:

1. Accessing Insignia, our online card catalog
2. Accessing Magnolia Databases
3. Research Skills
4. Learning Express for College & Career prep, ACT tutorials, and much more
5. Evaluating Resources
6. MLA 
7. Citations
8. Information Literacy

These lessons are also provided for classes that sign up for library time.
