Mission Statement

The mission of Murrah High School's Media Center is to provide a diverse collection of relevant resources that promote a school community of thinkers and lifelong readers that are college and career ready.

Vision Statement

The library is the essential hub of the school, and the center of its focus is to serve the students, faculty, and staff. The library is a structured environment where the students exhibit the highest level of integrity in their work and behavior.

Goals

  • Provide the resources to meet the academic needs of all students,
  • Provide supplemental resources for teachers to use in their classrooms

Hours

Monday - Friday 7:55 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Library Media Specialist

Mrs. Courtney Holmes serves as Murrah High School's library media specialist/summer reading coordinator, Lunch Bunch Book Club sponsor, Crochet Club sponsor, and Reading Fair coordinator.
