A Note from the Principal

A Note from the Principal

Greetings, Mighty Mustangs!

How humbled grateful, humbled, and excited I am to serve as the new Murrah High School principal! To witness the synergy from our scholars, teachers, parents, and stakeholders is a powerful force to behold. I have previously served as a successful principal in Mississippi, achieved National Board Teacher Certification in Social Studies, and empowered scholars toward National success in Speech and Debate. My previous vocation enriched life with 17 years of ministry in Memphis Tennessee, Long Island New York, and northern Nigeria. Yet, to be at Murrah High School is indeed a dream come true due to the academic rigor of the course offerings. While I've served as a successful high school principal previously, the level of achievement at Murrah High School is uniquely robust. That's a witness to the sweat equity of our scholars, the tireless devotion of our staff, and the unwavering foundation of families undergirding Murrah High.

As we anticipate this unique opportunity, our entire faculty and I are offering a warm encouragement to be especially active in your scholar's daily scholastic, artistic, and athletic endeavors. One of our highest goals is that every one of you will become a present and contributing participant of our revitalized PTSA. This team is a strategic pipeline for our school, and we graciously request more stakeholders to empower us to build on our rich tradition of scholarship. Please prepare for numerous parental and stakeholder participation options during this entire year, and it is my most earnest appeal that you would consider offering your contributing supports in all facets!

Our theme for this year is: ONE MURRAH! We intend to harness the collective efficacy of our entire organism to produce life, energy, and enthusiasm around our Mustang's growth. Thank you for the honor to serve as lead learner at Murrah High School in become a state leader in community service, a nationally recognized institution, and globally impactful enriching the lives of citizens around the world!
